Love needed somewhere to go:

When Bristol passed away, our love for her didn't go with her.

It was still here.

The love that packed hospital bags, held her hand, tucked blankets around her, learned every medication and medical term, celebrated every good moment, prayed through every difficult one, and imagined an entire future with her was still here.

We were still Bristol's parents.

We just had nowhere for all of that love to go.

So we began looking for a way to carry it forward.

It Started With a Blanket

Throughout Bristol's journey, her blankets were always close.

Before cancer, they were something she loved. During treatment, they became so much more.

Hospital rooms can feel cold and unfamiliar, especially to a child. Bristol's blankets brought a piece of home into that world. They gave her warmth and comfort. They were familiar when so much around her wasn't.

They made her feel safe.

After losing Bristol, we kept coming back to those blankets and what they had meant to her.

We knew there were other children lying in hospital beds facing frightening diagnoses, long treatments, procedures, and days away from everything familiar.

And we knew there were parents sitting beside those beds wishing they could make even one small part of their child's experience a little easier.

We couldn't change what those families were facing.

But maybe we could give them a little comfort while they faced it.

Bristol's Blankets

That thought became Bristol's Blankets.

Each blanket is given in memory of Bristol Rose and with the hope that it provides another child with some of the same things Bristol found in hers:

Warmth. Comfort. Security. Love.

A blanket cannot take away a diagnosis.

It cannot make the hospital disappear.

It cannot fix everything a family is facing.

But it can wrap around a child on a hard day.

It can become something familiar in an unfamiliar room.

It can remind a family that someone, somewhere, is thinking about them.

And sometimes, a little comfort matters more than we realize.

Her Love Became Our Mission

What began with blankets grew into something bigger.

We created The Bristol Rose Foundation to honor Bristol's life by bringing comfort, hope, and kindness to children and families facing childhood cancer, serious illness, and medically complex journeys.

Everything we do begins with her.

Every blanket carries her name.

Every child we reach becomes part of the love Bristol left behind.

Every family we support gives us another opportunity to turn our grief into something gentle for someone else.

We would give anything to have Bristol here.

We would trade every blanket, every donation, and everything this foundation may ever accomplish for one more ordinary day with our little girl.

But because we cannot change our story, we can choose what we do with the love she left us.

And Bristol left us with so much love.

So we will keep saying her name.

We will keep telling her story.

We will keep wrapping children in comfort.

We will keep showing families that they are not alone.

And we will keep finding places for Bristol's love to go.
